If you’re looking for ways to keep the kids off screens and entertained after school, we’re here to help.
St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club offers a wide range of after-school activities for all ages, from younger children to teenagers.
As one of Weybridge’s leading health clubs, you can get the kids playing outdoors, developing skills and having fun – making the most of our world-class facilities.
Here are some great ways to keep the whole family happy and healthy when school is out.
Sign up for regular after-school clubs
We run a full programme of after-school kids’ activities, from swim lessons and squash coaching to mini tennis (for 3 to 10 year old children) and a junior tennis academy based on the LTA teaching framework.
You can even think of after-school tennis clubs as a way of helping with homework. Studies show that children who play tennis regularly do better academically and socially than their non-playing peers.
Enjoy a whole range of kids’ activities
Forget being a taxi to take the kids from one venue to another. At St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club you have all the kids’ activities in Weybridge in one place.
Get the kids involved in different sports and find out what they enjoy. While the older children are in clubs or playing sport, younger children can enjoy the outside play area while you sit with a drink on the terrace overlooking the lake.
Benefit from professional motivation
Kids might not want to listen to their parents, but our professional coaches and instructors have years of experience helping to motivate children to learn and keep active.
Our coaching ethos is about having fun and we aim to build a love of sport that helps kids to have a lifelong passion for tennis, squash and swimming or whatever activity they enjoy.
Entertain your teenagers
St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club has lots to offer all age ranges. Older teenagers can use the gym, join studio classes and sign up for Personal Trainer sessions.
Sport can have a positive influence throughout those tricky teenage years. Our thriving junior scene has not only produced outstanding tennis and squash players but created lifelong friendships from a shared love of sport.
Half term holiday camps
Keep the kids active during the half-term break or longer school holidays. Our popular holiday camps and clubs are for children of all ages and abilities and include swimming, tennis, squash and creative activities.
We offer short sessions and full days with a focus on having fun, learning skills and making friends.
Healthy snacks and kids’ dinners
As the top health club in the Weybridge area and further afield, we pride ourselves on the wide choice of quality, fresh food on offer. The Club Room is the perfect place to enjoy an after-school snack or sit down to a healthy, family dinner.
With the new term not far away, now’s the time to think about keeping the kids active, entertained and out of the house after school.
