My second home
Making the most of everything
Tennis elbow didn’t stop Simone Benmore. She discovered that there’s so much more to do at St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club.
Simone joined as a Racquets member in 2002 so she could play regular tennis and get top-class coaching from the Club professionals.
But when injury struck, she took out Full membership and got involved with everything else the Club has to offer.
“It’s an amazing place to bring visitors.”
Simone is at gym classes, in the swimming pool, playing badminton. She’s often at the club 5 days a week, or sometimes more when there’s a social event or dinner with friends.
Simone loves the Club’s relaxing, welcoming atmosphere and that the staff really care about the members.
Simone has helped to set up the Table Tennis Club and a Friendship Group of 225 people with regular social events including talks, demonstrations and charity raffles.
It’s great that visitors are welcomed to what many members consider their second home.
